To challenge ourselves to see the hand of God at work every day in every day life with every day people...

Before it's too late...
I met a man in his late 70's yesterday. He started telling me a story that had a predictable ending.
A number of years ago, he and his wife were invited to a gathering of friends in a neighboring state. It was a class reunion, a wedding or some type of birthday celebration. He looked at his wife and said, "Let's go!" Her response was, "I can't. I have to work that weekend."
They planned on going a couple of months later to see their "friend." Wouldn't you know it... something came up at work and they had to delay their plans one more time.
Once again they set up a time to visit. A few weeks before their anticipated departure word came to them that their friend had passed away.
His stare was intense as he looked at me through his thick lensed glasses and quizzically proposed this thought... "Your business will give you three days off to go to a funeral, but they won't give you time off to see your friends while they are alive."
My iWitness...
"This is the day the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it!" (Psalm 118. 24)
I am not a fatalist by any stretch of the imagination.
But..
Let me ask you to consider this challenge for the week ahead...
You have people in your life that you admire, respect, love, care for and appreciate.
When was the last time you told them so?
How about this week we spend the time rejoicing in the day that the Lord has made by sharing our love and care with those people who have had a positive impact on our life.
We could text... email... phone... Skype... Facetime...write a letter and send it through snail mail... send flowers... offer a gift...write a post-it-note...trace a heart on a steamed filled mirror...
Let's be creative and let our love shine with the ones we love...
Before it's too late...
And that's my iWitness...
Laugh often and Fear not!
David!
