The Stage

Today at the University of Dubuque over three hundred seniors will walk across the stage, receive a diploma, shake the hand of President Jeffrey Bullock and walk off the stage, officially graduated from UD.

My iWitness...

What is it about "The Stage?"
On one side of the stage you are a senior in college.
On the other side of the stage you are an alumnus of the college.

On one side of the stage you are still "in" college.
On the other side of the stage you are "out" of college.

How many stages have you crossed in your life?

On one side of the stage you are a bachelor or a bachelorette.
On the other side of the stage after someone says, "Kiss the bride", you are a husband or a wife.

On one side of the stage you are married.
Take a few steps, get handed a piece of paper
On the other side of the stage you are divorced.

On one side of the stage you are unemployed.
On the other side of the stage after a firm handshake you have a job.

On one side of the stage you don't have any children.
On the other side of the stage, after "more than a handshake", you are a mom or a dad.

On one side of the stage you don't know the love of Jesus.
On the other side of the stage you're embraced by His loving arms... forever and ever.

What "Stage" will you cross today or tomorrow or this month... this year?

From one side of the stage to the other side of the stage, one thing stands true,
Everything and I mean everything is all brand new!!

"And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."" (Revelation 21. 5)

And that's my iWitness...
Laugh often and Fear not!
David!
